Nnamdi Azikiwe University hereby invites candidates who made the University their first
choice in the 2017 University Tertiary
Matriculation Examination (UTME) to her 2017/2018 post UTME screening exercise

    cut-off mark are eligible to apply.

  4. REGISTRATION PROCEDURE:

    a. Registration will start on Tuesday, 5th
    September, 2017 and end on Friday 15th
    September, 2017.
    b. – Visit http://www.portal.unizik.edu.ng
    – Click on ‘ Create Account’
    – Enter your UTME REG Number and a valid
    email address and click ‘Send’. A verification code
    will be sent to your email instantly.
    – Copy the verification code and click on
    ‘Continue’
    – On the form, enter your phone number,
    password, verification code (copied from email),
    select the access level and click on ‘ Submit’
    – Your login details will be sent to your email
    address instantly.
    – Continue with the application by logging in with
    the login credentials sent to your email
    – After successful login, click on ‘Step One’, click
    on ‘Generate Application Form RRR’
    – Print the RRR (Remita) page, proceed to any
    bank of your choice nationwide to make a
    payment of N2,000 only
    – Login to the portal, click on ‘Step Two’, click on
    ‘Confirm payment’, enter the RRR number and
    click on ‘Verify payment’. If payment confirmation
    is successful, or if you get a notification ‘Payment
    already verified’, then proceed to “Step Three”.
    – Click on ‘Step Three’, click on ‘Fill Application
    Form’, Fill out the application form. You can
    save each stage of the application and continue
    at a later time. Also, you can edit your
    information as often as possible within the
    application period.
    – Check the ‘I Agree’ box and click on “submit”
    button.
    – Print out the Application Form and come along
    with it for your screening and POST UTME
    examination.
  5. TIME AND REQUIREMENTS FOR THE
    SCREENING EXERCISE.

    a. Accreditation of candidates commences at
    8.00am each day. Candidates should adhere
    strictly to the time scheduled for screening
    examination.
    b. Print out the Application Form from the
    University Portal and come along with it for your
    screening and POST UTME evaluation
    c. The date and time for each candidate’s
    examination will be shown on the POST UTME
    PRINT-OUT

  6. RESTRICTIONS

    a. Only bona fide candidates/candidates
    scheduled for the day’s examination and time
    shall be allowed into the University / Examination
    Hall.
    b. Parents and guardians are, therefore, strongly
    advised against attempting to enter the University
    Campus as security will be tight.
    c. No GSM handsets, scientific calculators or any
    other extraneous materials shall be allowed into
    the examination hall
    d. Candidates who did not register online will not
    be allowed for the screening exercise.
    e. The University will not be liable for any
    payment made with wrong JAMB registration
    number at the Bank.
    f. The University shall also not be liable for any
    fraudulent payments made anywhere that is not
    in line with the directives of the University.

  7. Note also: -Candidates who changed their choice of institution to UNIZIK are prone to experience error messages like "Account Creation Unsuccessful, Try Again later". There is no cause for alarm as subsequent lists from JAMB will be uploaded to enable them register prior to the deadline. -Meanwhile the dates for the examination as reflected in the initial publication remain as fixed. -For security reasons, the portal logs candidates out after 5 minutes of being idle while logged onto the website. -Solution is that you should keep everything ready and filled up and submit before 5 mins.

UNIZIK Post UTME 2017; Top Ten Questions Candidates May Want To Ask.

Following the release of information concerning the commencement of sales of forms for the post UTME screening exercises 2017 by various universities, polytechnics and colleges of education across the country, candidates who applied to the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, NAU, popularly known as UNIZIK, Awka have besieged the various platforms online to ask questions concerning the institution and her plan for the 2017 post UTME screening exercise. Below are most of the questions and our suggested answers to them.

  1. Is the post UTME form on sale?

    As at the time of writing this article, the post UTME form for screening into the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, NAU, Awka has not yet been released.
  2. When will the form be out?

    The form is expected to be out anytime soon judging from the time of release of forms for previous post UTME screening exercises.
  3. How do I purchase the post UTME form when it is out?

    Nowadays, you do not need to walk to the university premises before you can pay for and obtain the post UTME screening form for the 2017/2018 admission as this can be easily done through the school's usual directives for candidates to pay into the banks through one of the processes of Remita platform or any other approved means while the registrations are done online.
  4. Is the screening going to be computer based or not?

    No one knows for certain but with the recent trends across the universities in the country, the UNIZIK 2017 post UTME screening exercise is most likely to be computer based testing (ie, CBT) as the university had been noted to have successfully carry out the exercise only on computer based testing since its 2015/2016 admission session.
  5. Where is the venue for the post UTME screening exercise?

    The venue for the post UTME screening exercise in Nnamdi Azikiwe University, NAU, Awka for admission into the university for the 2017/18 academic session is more like to be at the central (Digital) library as the test is more likely to be a computer based testing ie, CBT.
  6. How long is the post UTME screening exercise going to last?

    Judging from the large number of candidates that applied to the school during their registration for the 2017 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, the post UTME screening exercise by the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, NAU, Awka may span through a week, usually starting from a Monday to a Friday.
  7. How do I prepare for the screening exercise?

    It is said that practise makes one perfect. It is also applicable here. You can prepare for the Nnamdi Azikiwe University (aka UNIZIK) post UTME screening exercise by studying your prescribed textbooks, try solving past post UTME screening exercise from the university you can lay your hands on, learn effective time management and try practising on the computer screen again. These are our recommendations only.
  8. How do I check my UNIZIK admission status?

    The lists of successfully admitted candidates are usually uploaded on the university's website (unizik.edu.ng) after the screening exercise had been concluded and possible offers of admission being announced. At this stage, prospective students (ie, candidates) of the university are usually directed to check their admission statuses through the school portal (ie, my.unizik.edu.ng) and the admission checker for the year 2017 for possible admissions into the selected faculties and departments in the university.
  9. How do I know when the post UTME screening forms are on sale?

    The school will let us know when it is out. You can subscribe to our e-mail list to receive notifications when it is on sale, visit the university's website and social media page, read popular dailies or always refresh this page for information pertaining to when the forms are on sale.

Following the announcement made by the Registrar of the University Of Nigeria, Nsukka announcing the commencement of sales of forms and subsequently, registrations for the 2017 post UTME screening exercise for eligible candidates into the univesity, the following are the top ten pressing questions every aspirant of the institution may want to ask and their answers.

When Is The Post UTME Date?

The online registration commences on Tuesday,
August 29, 2017 and ends on Sunday, September
10, 2017 while the Post-UTME examination
screening exercise will commence on Monday,
September 11, 2017 and end on Saturday,
September 16, 2017.

Who is eligible to apply for the post UTME?

candidates who made her their first choice in the
2017 University Tertiary Matriculation
Examination (UTME) and scored 200 and above
for screening exercise.



How Do I Start The Registration Process(es)?


Eligible candidates are required to pay a
processing fee of N2,000.00 (Two thousand Naira
only) through Remita Platform
at any Commercial
Bank.
Note: This is for the online registration process.

2. Click on UNN portal (on the top right corner of the
Website)
3. Click Prospective Students
4. Select Online Application Form for 2017/2018
Admission Screening Exercise
5. Enter JAMB Registration Number
6. Generate Invoice
7. Proceed to bank for Payment or pay using your
ATM Card
8. Return to Portal
9. Re-enter JAMB Registration Number
10. Complete Date of Birth and all other blank
fields
11. Enter O-Level Subjects and Grades (also
provide your Centre and Examination Number)
12. Re-enter your grades correctly
13. Upload Certificates (ensure that their sizes
are not above 100KB)

 JAMB Result Slip
 O-Level 1
